I absolutely loved the movie from the beginning to the end. Every moment kept me on the edge of my seat, and I was never bored for a second.
The soundtrack is equally glorious and evokes emotion at every key moment
The sets are simply stunning, every scene a true masterpiece, especially the castle of Monte Cristo. As for Pierre Niney, he is simply outstanding in the lead role.
He portrays Edmond Dantes with such intensity and depth
His performance clearly reflects the character’s evolution from an innocent sailor to a vengeful vigilante on the verge of losing himself. Special mention to the actress who plays Heidi: she absolutely steals the show.
Her presence is magnetic
In short, this film is a never-failing masterpiece and a must watch.
