These instructions, which are missing from the resulting ISO file, may be critical for successful installation and subsequent use of the product: (in addition to automatic file updates from Microsoft) Burn the iso file to a blank DVD5 disc using your DVD burner
Programs such as PowerISO (available as a separate torrent download) will create a bootable installation disk
While installing Windows, you sometimes/even often see an annoying message from the Windows installation process section, saying that the hard drive you want to install Windows on “cannot be used with Windows” (because it is partitioned using MBR or GPT – the two variants used) when you should simply switch from one type to the other, depending on which partition you need to continue with) then type the following command diskpart list disk select disk 0 (if that is the correct disk number) clean (this will erase what is on the disk – Windows often won’t continue without the CLEAN command – when you use this command it converts Saying it can’t – it doesn’t tell you to use MBR conversion (or GPT conversion) to whatever type of partition format you are doing Exit the CLEAN command if you don’t like it
When you need to keep some data on the disk, use a program like EASUS (which can be downloaded additionally from torrent sites) before converting the partition type and installing this copy of Windows
