Or if they cast the right actor to play RCB
Scenario
It follows Rupert Campbell-Black and Tony Baddingham as they have a long-standing rivalry that comes to a head. Coincidentally, Aidan Turner has previously filmed at Chavenage House (The Priory in Rivals). The same filming location was also used to play Trenwith House in the 2015 BBC TV adaptation of Poldark. I haven’t read the books so I can’t comment on how accurate it is.
And great escapism
I can say though that I really enjoyed this show and really hope it gets a second series. It’s a bit cheesy. But it’s great TV. I managed to watch the whole thing in 2 days.
I wish there were more episodes
It’s nice that they don’t drag it out too much though. David Tennant is great, as always. But I was actually more surprised at how good Danny Dyer was. I’ve seen him in a few things.
But it was brilliant
(Who hasn’t) And I was a bit sceptical to see him in this. There are so many characters I love and some I loved to hate. Too many to mention. Highly recommended.
